Love your round up of the Summer potential; i focused just on the Summer super hero flicks in my take on the movies to come. Couple of thoughts:

Hancock – you already know that with a decent supporting cast (eg Jason Bateman) feeding Will Smith one liners it should work.(plus it gets to tear apart LA – who doesn’t love that?)

Batman: The Dark Knight: It was probably more acase of an extreme work load that included BTDK, the Terry Gilliam flick and another about an artist that the name escapes me all done so close together that wore Ledger out and led him to prescription meds with tragic consequences. This will be an event film, no question.

Just not excited about Indiana Jones for whatever reason and reviews so far seem mixed

Iron Man was indeed spectacular

Hellboy II should be as solid as the first given the directors love for the character (yes, I’m an optimist)

Others thatI think will surprise: Hulk, the Happening, tropic Thunder, Mongul.

Films that won’t do so well: Get Smart, Love Guru, War Inc (hated the trailer- and I love Cusack)and Wanted.

BELIEVE it or not, but the X-Files still has a strong fan base, STRONG and ready
to make this a HIT. Don’t be surprised if the Box Office can’t find an Explanation for
the early Sell Out of this Sequel.
