Erik, thanks for publishing the update to your blog post. At UPS, we take pride in delivering outstanding service to our customers. But as pointed out in your blog, your encounter did not that standard. I hope you and your readers will give us another chance to regain your trust.

Hi tygr20, wow, that sucks. I've generally had pretty good experiences with them, but not recently.

@Jim, love that logistical planning...

It's logistics..from what I have found out they parked the trailers from the 19th in the backs of the lot and all the new trailers are being packed in front making it impossible to get them. That's why we've seen delivers before, during and after the 19th...

Simply put, UPS fails at life. To expound on the tweet I sent back to you earlier, I'd ordered a book for a friend from Amazon, used 2-day Prime shipping, and I was all incognito-like- but I messed up. We'll say her apartment was #4, I put #2 by mistake. They attempted delivery, I contacted them, gave them the correct address, they tried to deliver again- to apartment 2. After that, I contacted them again, no one had changed the address in the system, so they fouled that up again for a suspected 3rd time. I finally contacted them a third time, and this 2-day ship order got to her in about 5 days. Not counting the weekend.

My last order from Amazon(Bluetooth headphones FTW, btw) was apparently delivered to someone else. When I contacted UPS, they informed me I could do nothing about it outside of contact Amazon, they wouldn't contact the driver to find out where he'd left it- they were just plain asses, in short. Here's to hoping Fed Ex does a much better job.
