Haha, I was just watching At the Movies and a guy put Miracle at St. Anna at his 8th spot of best movies of the year! I was planning on skipping it, but now I’m a bit interested so I’ll just watch it online or something…

Hi movielovr77, then we clearly have different tastes when it comes to comedy. Comedy seems to be the one genre where people can be severely divided… drama, action and the rest tend to be a little more stable.

I’ve found Justin Timberlake to be pretty entertaining in a variety of things, from Alpha Dog to some of those SNL videos/skits such as the Beyonce thing and Dick in a Box.

Ok, here me again. I was very sad to see The Love Guru, Because i loved the movie, of course like you have mentioned before, it is a persons taste. My brother, his girlfriend, and I watched it, and we were laughing out loud. I loved that Mariska Hargitay was in it, since i am also a fan of Law n Order SVU… but also when Freeman voice was in it… lol I think I haven’t seen many good comedy movies, but that one is a 10 in my book. Justin .. WHEN is he funny? i don’t care much for his acting, I haven’t seen movies with him in it, that much, but his performance came and went for me. There were some other things in there, but i just thought if was hilarious.

The happening… I don’t like to watch scary movies, but I had to watch this one cause my in law rented it. I was more scared of being scared than of the actually movie. it could have been better, running from the wind?? come on… u do have to give credit of the idea, cause sometimes is scary when u are against nature.. who can stop that??

Thanks EX27, I agree with you on all counts – except for the Saw films, of course. And I wouldn’t count your chickens in regards to Saw 6 being the last…

Great list, accurate, and true. The Happening didn’t seem as bad the first time I saw it, but the second time, it was a disaster. The Happening was definitely the worst movie this year, probably one of the worst movies of all time. I have not yet seen The Love Guru, but the way the clips look, it looks just as bad as The Happening. I was never really a fan of Mike Myers, but I believe that he should stick with what he does best, do the voice of Shrek or other animation films. The Mummy was a disgrace to the series. The first film was terrific, the second was not good, and this one is flat out bad. It is a shame that the series had to come to this. The original SAW is one of my favorite movies, the first sequel was good, part 3 was ok, the third sequel brought the series up a notch, but the fifth entrie in the series is simply pointless. I can only hope that SAW 6 will hopefully end the series with a bang.
