If you can’t get enough of my opinions, head on over to my latest article, Marvel at Wolverine.

Check out some of the other articles at newslite.tv as well; there are some pretty good ones for anyone who likes the slightly offbeat.

Oh, and my weekend assessment was wrong. Wolverine was terrible.

Despite the presence of Chow Yun-Fat, Dragonball looks like nothing more than a B-grade kung fu action film fused with cheesy special effects.

I know there are some people who are rabidly anticipating this picture, but for the regular moviegoer, I see this one crashing and burning. The best kung fu movies are the ones that feel realistic and use minimal special effects, whereas Dragonball, out of necessity, has to go to the other extreme. Furthermore, the glossy, bright colors just make it look like a second-tier film, and I don’t think there’s anything the marketing department will be able to do to hide that fact.

By the way, Justin Chatwin’s hair absolutely drives me crazy.

You can watch the Dragonball movie trailer here. What are your thoughts?

Watch the new movie trailer for Ghost Town, which stars Ricky Gervais (from the British version of “The Office”) as a man who, after dying for only seven minutes, discovers that he can see ghosts. Greg Kinnear plays one of those ghosts, who enlists the man to hit on his wife (Tea Leoni), who in turn is dating a creep of a dentist.

Ghost Town looks OK, but not particularly funny. The marketing department will have to do more to make this one look appealing.
